RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Woman from Greenbrier County was arrested for malicious assault in Raleigh County.

State Police tell Lootpress that they responded to a fight on Grandview Road. When they arrived, the female victim was observed to have a large lump on her forehead and blood running down her face. The victim told troopers that Jessica Black came onto her uncle’s porch and began beating on the door. When the victim answered the door, Ms. Black began to scream, cuss her, and beat her. During the fight, Ms. Black allegedly threw a glass Mason jar full of screws at the victim’s face, causing a hematoma and cut on her forehead. The victim told police that Black was staying in a shed behind the house.

Police went to the shed and could hear a female inside talking to someone, but no one came to the door. Troopers were able to obtain permission from the property owner to enter. The property owner corroborated the victim’s story and further stated that Black was screaming at the victim, asking her why she called her husband and told him lies.

When police detained Black, she began screaming and advising them that she was attacked and did nothing wrong. The victim had to seek medical treatment due to her injuries in the fight.

Black was arrested and charged with malicious assault. She is currently out on bond.
