It's Michigan tradition to make fun of Ohio.

One Indiana candlemaker is joining in on the fun. DIY Candles

Candle company trolls Ohio with candle that smells like nothing

Simple Nature is a candle company based in Fort Wayne that makes scented candles based on locations around America (and other generic scents such as "pacific" and "mojave").

One of those locations is Ohio. The scent? Nothing. It's unscented.

"Not much to see. Not much to do. Welcome to Ohio, the unscented candle," the description reads. You can buy it online for $15.95.

One Twitter user found the candle in a store and shared images of it over the weekend, resulting in more than 30,000 retweets and 194,000 likes as of Thursday morning.

In fairness, Simple Nature also has a Cincinnati candle, with a description that reads, "with both an urban energy and southern charm, Cincinnati has a vibrant and unique culture that flows proudly from the Ohio River."

The company has no Michigan candles (yet). But there is a "victory" scent.

This brings up a good question, though: What would a Michigan scented candle smell like? The forest? A lake? The air after a fresh rain? Asphalt due to all the construction? Let us know in the comments.

Michigan is better than Ohio, according to yet another study
